The Louvre Abu Dhabi is the first museum of its kind in the Arab world: a universal museum that is a cultural beacon, bringing together different cultures to shine fresh light on the shared stories of humanity. The museum is located on the Saadiyat Island Cultural District. It is the largest art museum in the Arabian peninsula. Artworks from around the world are showcased at the museum, with particular focus placed upon bridging the gap between Eastern and Western art. Mrs Mariam Al Dhaheri – Senior Communications Specialist The Louvre Abu Dhabi. Mrs. Al Dhaheri will discuss the construction, the collection of art work around the world with a special emphasis with the art coming from Belgium and the Netherlands and the public engagement.
