Join us for our annual Joint Business Council Cultural Iftar for an authentic Emirati experience at The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rahid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU).
The SMCCU Ramadan Iftar will take place in the wind-tower house in the heart of Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, the historical Emirati neighbourhood. The evening begins with the Athan (the call to prayer) followed by the breaking of the fast with the Emirati hosts. Guests can enjoy Arabic coffee and dates and then take a moment to watch your hosts pray, before a delicious array of Emirati dishes, served for Iftar. During the event, guests are invited to ask any questions they may have about Ramadan and the culture of the UAE.
