Following the huge success we had with our ABC Desert Driving Camp last year, we would like to invite you to join us for a fun filled Desert Day & Tour to the Sweihan desert.
The trip will combine the truly unique experience of a day in the serene surroundings of the Arabian Desert including an optional overnight.
The route will be decided by our valued and experienced 4×4 enthusiasts and ABC Board Members.
Date: Friday, 3rd March 2017
Departure: 11:00 hrs
Venue: Departure point at Abu Sallaf, Petrol Station
between Abu Dhabi Airport and Sweihan (same place as last year)

Please note this will be the last stop to buy gasoline (please fill your car before the departure
time), foodstuff, ice etc. before starting to the desert!
Car: Authentic 4×4 desert proofed car, enter the desert. Road cars can be parked about 30 minutes way and shuttle service will be provided.
Equipment: For those entering the desert who also want to join the optional adventure tour in the higher dunes: snatch strap for pulling and towing, front and rear tow hook, shovel, wooden or alu base plates, jack and wheel wrench, spare tire, tools, water, torch, spare fuses, if available flagpole, flag and radio equipment.
Overnight stay: Please provide for your own stay next to food and BBQ equipment e.g.: tents, blankets, inflatable mattress, camping chairs, warm clothes, wood for the campfire, flashlights and spare batteries, garbage bags, insect protection etc.
Food: Thanks to Shaloh Trading, the partner of Greisinger GmbH, we will provide a limited quantity of typical Austrian Sausages (Käsekrainer, Berner- & Bratwürstel) and “Leberkässemmerl“. You are nevertheless requested to bring your own food & beverages for the whole trip.
For those who choose NOT to stay overnight in the desert, kindly note that we will escort you out of the desert to a near exit point so you can drive safely back to civilization. However due to the topography we shall only be able to conduct one such run. Therefore please indicate in time whether you want to join this group.
It was a wonderful experience and unique trip from Abu Sallaf into the Sweihan desert. We had lots of fun and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
