From a legal point of view, corporate, tax and licensing related issues need to be taken into consideration. Corporate restructuring impacts employee’s behaviour heavily and affects existing culture of the company, hence often resulting in challenges meeting business objectives. This is why corporate culture changes should be addressed effectively and on time in order to mitigate any friction within the transformation process. This Joint Business Council Breakfast Seminar will shed light into the major legal aspects of corporate restructuring and effective people management. Ms. Barbara Lebar is overall responsible for Gustav Kaeser Middle East and Turkey, being with Gustav Kaeser for 14 years in business development and enablement, opening new markets in Bulgaria, Turkey and UAE/KSA. Prior to Gustav Kaeser she gained experiences in IT and Telecommunication sector in Finance and Sales. She challenges executives and participants from different levels on their area of performance, move them out of comfort zone and bring them to entrepreneurial thinking, where own experiences are a base.
Mr. Igor Molek is director of sales and certified trainer at Gustav Kaeser Middle East LLC. He joined Gustav Kaeser International as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) after spent +30 years in Information Technology industry, where held numerous managerial and leadership roles at Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard, EMC and Dell Technologies.
Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle, LL.M.: Constantin is a senior lawyer with SCHLÜTER GRAF Legal Consultants (Dubai, UAE). Prior to joining SCHLÜTER GRAF Legal Consultants he worked for international law firms in Berlin, Munich and Bangkok and the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID) in Jakarta.
He advises foreign investors on structuring their investments in the region (in particular in the oil & gas and plant construction industry), resolving disputes (arbitration and litigation services) and adjacent matters. Constantin regularly talks and publishes about legal developments in the region.
