“Rethink Gulf – From Integration to Education” is the topic of this year’s conference. A keynote speech by H.E. Hamad Buamin, the President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dubai will highlight the “Economic Opportunities of Dubai” followed by a panel discussion featuring Dubai´s Economic and Social Transition towards Expo 2020 and Dubai 2021. Presentations and discussions dealing with the topics of Successful Integration into the Arab Business World and a panel discussion on Corporate Social Responsibility will be dealt with in the morning session. Following a networking lunch, two parallel panel discussions will center on Integration of Foreign Education and Integration of Austrian Technologies in the project business and the construction sector in the Gulf Region. Breakout sessions featuring Iran, Iraq and Pakistan and the opportunity to meet the Austrian Commercial Counsellors from Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Tehran, Erbil, Muscat and Doha for 1-on-1 meetings will be the highlights of the afternoon.
The day will be rounded off with an exclusive Dhow cruise under the courtesy of the Vienna Economic Chamber around the Dubai Creek which will allow you to meet the experts and network with the Austrian business community throughout the evening.
